New Countertop Options

One of the most replaced elements in homes are kitchen and bathroom countertops. There are many great options when it comes time for new countertops in your home. Choosing the right one comes down to your family’s lifestyle, taste, and budget.

Countertop Options

At F’Deluca Construction, we offer many countertop options for your kitchen or bathroom remodel or even an office space. Here are the most common materials homeowners choose for their new countertops.
  • Granite - A long-time favorite of many homeowners, granite comes in many styles, colors, and patterns and different price points. Granite is strong, heat resistant, and resists staining. It does require regular sealing to keep it looking its best.
  • Quartz - Most quartz countertops are actually quartz mixed with a resin rather than quartz slabs. Both are strong, scratch and stain resistant but neither stands up to heat as well as granite. Some homeowners prefer quartz over other natural stone because of its consistent pattern.
  • Marble - One of the most beautiful natural stone countertop options. It does require more care than other types. It stains and scratches more easily than both quartz and granite but it is heat resistant. If you want a black and white kitchen, there really is nothing like marble countertops.

Other Countertop Options

Depending on your space, budget and needs, there are other popular options for new countertops. Wood is a beautiful option when there isn’t a lot of water around. Concrete and metal countertops compliment modern or industrial style homes. Ceramic tile is an affordable option that is durable but requires regular deep cleaning. Older homes have laminate which may work if you have a rental property, laundry room or other space where you’re more interested in keeping on a budget than creating a showpiece in a room. Lastly are solid surface countertops which were very popular in the 90’s because of their price point compared to quartz and granite.

As a home remodeling company with vast experience in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, we’ll help you choose the best new countertops for your space based on where it will be used and your budget. From there, we’ll help you select the perfect color or pattern to best compliment the style and other elements in the room.
