Beauty of New Cabinetry

Cabinetry is used to describe many elements in your home. The most common are your kitchen cabinets and your bathroom vanity. If you’re looking for new cabinets in your home or business, we offer many lines of cabinets designed and installed to meet your needs. Because we work with so many different manufacturers, we can find a style and finish that suits your taste and budget.

Custom, Semi-Custom, or Stock Cabinetry

It’s true that you can find attractive cabinets at big box stores and install them yourself. There are many differences between most stock, semi-custom, and custom cabinets. Stock cabinets come in pre-determined widths and heights for the upper and lower cabinets. Often made of MDF or plywood without much in the way of selection of finishes and features, they’re the least expensive cabinets and often readily available with little or no lead time.

Semi-custom and custom cabinets have more features, size options, and a wider selection of styles and finishes. If you’re redesigning your entire kitchen and have very specific size cabinets in mind, you’re going to need to choose a semi-custom or custom cabinet. You’ll find that both offer a higher quality with almost all featuring dove-tail drawers and soft closures. Most custom cabinets are entirely hardwood, unlike semi-custom which may have a mix of hardwood and MDF or plywood.

Benefits of Custom and Semi-Custom Cabinets

Although it may take several weeks to a few months for a custom cabinet order, they offer many benefits. Perhaps the biggest is that your kitchen remodel can have cabinets that exactly suit your needs and taste. If you need a cabinet that’s 18 5/8” you can get one. If you want certain cabinets to have one finish and others a different finish, your custom cabinets can have that. Most semi-custom cabinets are customizable to 1” increments and offer a more limited selection of customizations like finishes, knife organizers, and storage features.

We know that our customers prefer semi-custom and custom cabinets for their bathroom and kitchen remodeling projects. The wide selection of options and sizes make them a better fit for most renovations including those in offices, closets, and laundry rooms. If you’re looking to replace your cabinets, we want to help you find the perfect cabinetry for you.
